Make friends with an owner that uses manual equipment, train with him a little bit, and ask can you use his truck to retake your test.

Is there anyone in your family's businesses that could help you out?

I held off a while on saying something. Tx is a good ol'\ Boy but I was not sure were to take that correction to the other party.

 

I would find someone with a manual and go retest, period. An auto only restriction is just that a, a restriction and cuts down on your options in the industry, period. No way would I be happy with an auto only restriction, and eventually you will run across that job you really want but someone else will get it while you are trying to get the restriction off of your license. Just my 2 cents, and may or may not be worth every penny.

Did you test in a truck with a manual or an automatic?

If you tested in a manual, then how did you get a restriction?
