When a company plans drivers on back to back loads with no spare time during heavy traffic in the northeast and expects you'll be unloaded in 30m or less its pretty clearly plannings fault for booking "just in time" freight
Some loads i was given i didnt even have enough time to get there if I drop and hooked, WEL had a fully incompetent dispatch and planning operation, I could write a book about the idiocy i dealt with working for them and that's before management stealing from me
Looking for anything right now temporarily

Two tickets..what are they for?
Without knowing the details no one can give you solid advice.
Florida blows for finding a OTR gig, no secret there. I actually started out working for a company out of Michigan. Every couple months I would fly home to Melbourne. Tickets were cheap so I always got a front row big window seat. Two beers later and I was home at my front door. Was the best job I ever had.Long FLD, Sirscrapntruckalot, singlescrewshaker and 1 other person Thank this. -
Concorde Thanks this.

Been thinking to try getting on with them myself if I can make the cut.
I wouldn’t want to do that yard dog job either because of the Florida heat and humidity. Maybe it would be bearable if it was 8 hour shifts or night shifts. However if it was possible to move up into a OTR job with them I wouldn’t hesitate for a second.
Set a goal and do whatever you need to do to make it happen.Sapphire_Glitter and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -
I didn’t see if you applied to Crete/Shaffer, but they have a terminal in DeLand, FL. I had a terrible time there but maybe you can work towards one of the Walmart accounts out west. I had a better time with the Cheyenne account; actually made money.
National Beef/Transport was desperate for drivers in FL a bit ago. Not sure if they’re good, but maybe they’ll be good enough otherwise.
Honestly, if you have the chance to go into trades/electrical work, I’d take it. Trucking isn’t going to get better for a while. You might not find what you want for a while, either. Good luckConcorde Thanks this. -
How'd ya feel about either the companies I dropped on ya on page 2?

Q: Looking for anything right now temporarily.
Requirements = No driver cams, no uniforms, no local/daycab and preferably 60cpm or higher and bare minimum $1200 a week.
Anything does not equal a list of requirements. Anything means "should provide income."Numb, Gearjammin' Penguin and firemedic2816 Thank this. -
Economy is currently so bad and odds of me being able to buy a house in the next 5 years are 0 im heavily considering moving to a lower cost of living country
