I dont think you are going toget o/obtonwrite youbone but Prime is an excellent choice. Prehires are all i needed when i did the wia program id talk to your rep again.
-
i have and she wants the "letter of intent to hire" i even had the Recruter of Stevens Transport call them n they told her the same thing, i have 4 pre approvals and i need something saying i am garenteed a job after my cdl class
-
infact Schneider, Stevens, Prime, Western all gave me the pre approvals and they wont accept them at all
-
Should i consider on talking to someone higher then her? Supervisor? or is there a 800 number, i applyed for Grants n have grants up the ### but the school wont accept them cuz the corse isent long enough to be approved for finical aid

There should be a list of WIA approved schools on their website in your area. There's got to be a truck training school on there somewhere. There's a ton of them on there in my state. If you go to a WIA approved school then she should have no problem with paying the training.

It may be that your location will make it near impossible for those companies to get you hometime without a big hassle for themselves.
Try a nearby company and see if you can get a pre hire from them. Hartt is in Bangor http://www.hartt-trans.com/ maybe at least apply and see how WIA reacts to that.

There appears to be a ton of CDL schools in Maine right here: http://198.182.162.220/mecrs/CIS/pr...ode=490205&txtKeywords=&oldoes=&optMatchlevel=

Schools are not the problem.
Its the prehire/committment letter thats the problem............
I'd politely go over head, and see if you can get this resolved. -
What about writing out a plan of action, much like applying for a business loan or what not? That's all I had to do. There's got to be another way.
