    Hello everyone!
This is my first time joining, let alone posting on a forum so please bear with me.

I bought my first truck and need a place to ask questions and learn.

It is a 1994 379 with with what I was told is a B model Cat. I had exhaust leaks do I pulled it apart last night to find round ports on the block and a square manifold...

    Engine # 3ZJ41978
    Pump # 7E5888

    Any info on this combination?

where do I need to look in order to find the head serial number?

    Thank you!

How bout a 3zj51437? I’m being told this engine takes either a 0r4337 or 0r8243 nozzle and nobody can tell me why?
