Since I started with this company they have been all around fantastic. I worked for PTL for my starter company and ended up having a bad experience with them. The company I work for now is fantastic. I avg 3300 mi per week solo but the only way to get the most money while your out here is teams. I'll stay out for months at a time. I'm saving up for my own truck.

Are you looking for an experienced driver? I'm a newbie & happy to team if you'd consider.

If you're averaging 3300 miles/week on your own, how do you expect to make more splitting the miles with another driver? And if that other driver isn't as willing to run hard, your mileage won't double and your paychecks will get smaller. Unless both paychecks find their way into the same bank account (as in a husband/wife team or you are a trainer and paid for all miles), I've never seen how a solo company driver stands to make more money running team...especially if you're already averaging 3300 miles/week. Maybe if they prioritized the team trucks giving them 6000-7000 miles per week while the solos took what was left and only averaged 2000-2500, then sure...but realistically 3000-3500 is all you're going to run consistently without running illegal or wearing yourself out.

Maybe it's a question of easier miles/lanes - I'm new to this but isn't it better if you have a coast to coast lane with few stops than having a bunch of stops? As I understand it you can run all 48 solo but all the creamy lanes are given to the teams. But rvalllee your point is well taken, it'll probably be difficult to do more than 3300 legally.
