    I’m looking or wondering what are the best companies to drive for that are like based in running the mid west to west part of the states… I’m looking for a company that offers good to great hometime but runs out west mainly. I have 8 years of otr experience driving dry van and haz mat tankers.

    You're just going to have to call co's and ask questions. As an example, if you live close to OKC which is on the I-40/I-35 jct, you would have a much better chance to get hometime than if you lived 100 mi off the I-40. Since you have 8 yrs OTR, you already know this. Take into consideration if you are under a load and passing by the house, can you stop ? Maybe for a shower and some sweet lovins from wifey.
