Looking for company for a team

    I have 15 months experience. My team mate has 6 months. He has a felony (child support) and 1 ticket for failure to yield (missed a weigh station). We live in johnson city tn. Both are smokers. No endorsements, and prefer driving automatics. I have 9 months left on my medical card and would prefer to not have to retake it.

    Currently splitting .50 per mile but miles are sporatic. 20k in 3 weeks followed by 8k the next 3 weeks seems to be the standard which means we aren't getting bonus while coming home 4-5 days per month. I was making more money solo... I would like to go coast to coast as much as possible while avoiding new england. We have a 99% on time delivery rate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Felony friendly companies just don't like drug, theft, violence, sex or traffic related charges. Look at Prime.

    Danny Herman Trucking in Mountain City,TN runs teams and no northeast. They run lots of Southern California and the Texas border towns.
    More no Northeast:
    MC Van Kampen Trucking
    A&A Express
    More Teams:
    TWT Refrigerated Service - teams split .60 cpm
    Quest Global - lots of California turns
    Florida Beauty Express - California every week; lots of stops with live plants.
    Titan Transfer
    Abilene Motor Express - mostly dry van & and some reefer. Trucks run 72 mph on cruise. Don't know how much California they run.
    Celadon - teams split .60 cpm

    I'd put Van Kampen, Quest Global, TWT as first choices.

    Not sure how many of the above will require a new physical. Danny Herman doesn't for sure, but don't know how much time must be left on your current DOT card.

    Green Transportation out of Holland MI runs mostly teams out west. Pay is good, I can't recall exactly how much.
