Does the training have to be in North Carolina or do you want training with companies that hire North Carolina drivers?

Companies that hire North Carolina drivers. I currently live outside of Raleigh.

I can do the training anywhere.

    Maverick Transportation - flatbed
Sygma Network - on-the-job training & hauls for Sysco.

They hire with cdl permit only. I see the ads every day. Maybe no openings in your area.

Millis Transfer has a school in Eden. $500 up front but you'd definitely make over 50k starting out.

If you can put $1200 together you should look into NC Truck Driver Training School At Johnston Community College. One of the best truck driving schools in the country. Then you can go work anywhere and not be held hostage by a contract. You will have more of a chance to make $50,000 your first year.

If you live closer to Warsaw, NC, Sampson Community College has the same school for only $500!!

Good luck to you no matter the route you choose....
