You're really out in the boonies. You're in a hiring dead zone for many companies.
First, I would check with some schools and ask which companies recruit from those schools.
If you choose a private school, then get all the endorsements,especially tanker/hazmat. Also get a passport and TWIC ID Card. The passport is for runs to Canada and the TWIC ID Card is for entry to military bases, chemical plants, sea ports. Google for nearest TWIC office.
You might find a local tanker job with that CDL school certificate and TWIC, tanker/hazmat endorsements.

Knight Transportation hires in your area and has their own CDL school. Dry van division would be best.

U.S. Express - make good money running teams. This company, from what is posted by their drivers, is not too good for solo drivers but excellent for teams.
After receiving your CDL it's important to ignore "experience required" by any trucking company and apply anyway. Many companies bend their own hiring rules, so don't miss out on a possible good opportunity by not applying.
