Hello, I made the mistake to lease on with a scammer company called Leader freight systems out of Indianapolis, IN, but orientation office in CHICAGOLAND (ALSIP) I am O/O power only, after moving 3 loads with them I decided to quit, they only offered me cheap paying RPM loads, when I told them that I was quitting they shut down my fuel card, I was still on a load and hundreds of miles away, I had to use my personal credit card to get fuel, I completed delivery on time and dropped their trailer in their yard as they told me, I worked there from 8/31/23 to 09/07 23, they sent me 3 different settlements trying to charge me for 2 weeks of trailer rent, eld, insurance, escrow, etc.
today is 10/04/23 and they have not paid me nothing, no answer calls or emails. if your are O/O stay away from these thieves.
Looking for company suggestions

I'm doing a similar deal. I'm paying the fuel, truck rent, trailer, insurance, tolls etc.
Been here for 2 months, made 1 positive paycheck. Recently 3rd month on my 2nd positive paycheck. This week should definitely be positive, afterwards I'll be looking for employment elsewhere.Blackeagle23 Thanks this. -
I have my own truck, like I said, they have never paid me, good luck.

#### that's rough man. Sorry to hear. Hope you find a good company to run with!Blackeagle23 Thanks this.

You are part of the problem with this industry! I hope you and your company gets caught and shut down!
-
You run that many miles and still make nothing. Just running the freight for cheap as hell and then doing it cheating on HOS. Disgrace!
-
Why do you think I am part of what problem?
-
I only talked about my bad experience, It did not work for me but maybe it is very good for others, why don't you give a try with them?

I'm skeptical of drivers that specifically ask for companies that run fast trucks and say they run 4800 miles in a week. That screams a potentially unsafe driver.
Siinman and Blackeagle23 Thank this. -
Many of those companies play by their own rules up there. When I worked for one, I got into an argument with the owner. He wanted me to unplug the elog, drive to the shipper while remaining on a 34, and then log back in when I got there. This was out in California. I told him I know how to work a clock and I wasn't doing it. I had blemishes on my record and I was in the process of trying to clean it up. I refused and we got to arguing. Drivers go to these companies because they will allow you to run outlaw. Heaven forbid if they have a major accident or a DOT audit. These companies get so many drivers that really don't know how to work.Siinman and Blackeagle23 Thank this.
