I've been accepted by Lonestar. The recruiter tells me I'll start at .40 per mile with my experience. Won't count on that until I see it on paper. I'm not new to trucking (14 yrs) but I am new to the bigger companies. I've mostly stuck with the smaller local companies but I've wanted a change for awhile. I'd really appreciate any info anybody could give me on Lonestar. I was told I'd recieve a $1500 sign on bonus because I have flatbed experience and $750 orientation pay. Sounds pretty good but don't they all sound good from a recruiters mouth?
Looking for driver info about Lonestar.

They seem like a decent company. I know they come from humble beginnings. I'm due for orientation next Monday. If I dont get any very very bad info before then I'm gonna jump in head first and go for it. The thing that attracted me is they have room for you to advance into their heavyhaul division.
American-Trucker Thanks this. -
look up my comments about them. there is good and bad to the company, but the choice is yours. I don't mince words about them, but just spoke the truth. There are things to be considered about working for them, so I offer you the opportunity to look over my comments and wish you the best.

...works for them as I see his truck in his driveway a lot. I can't speak to the money but he seems to get home often enough.
