Look into CRST, Carolina Cargo, and Bowman out of Willamsport, MD. Those are 3 that I know will hire felons just off the top of my head, and I know CRST has a training school. Not the best of companies, but it will get your foot in the door.

 

I agree with NJ Ladytrucker, you will have to find one of the mega fleets to hire you and suck it up for a year to get experience. Good luck

 

Try your county and state offices for Workforse programs, they pay for training and you don't need to pay them back.

 

Apply with Carolina Cargo; this company hires felons. Get the CDL through the one day outfit, then apply and see what happens.

Try these and just be upfront about the felony. Do their online applications and wait.
Get the CDL first before applying; this shows you're motivated and can get the job done.

If all this fails, try the unemployment office for their programs on CDL school. Many states pay for CDL school for the unemployed.

 

Martin Enterprises of the Carolinas and Roadtex also hire felons.
