What are some good companies to lease on to as a new "owner operator"? I'm looking to buy my own truck soon and am looking into different carriers to lease on to. Are there any that are well known to stay away from, and any with good reputations? I've heard some pay 90%, but there are likely strings attached. I'm in north Carolina, 2 years experience in dry van and reefer, looking to buy a 2016 truck with around 400k miles. Any advice much appreciated

Why a 2016 truck and why 400K miles?

Good luck. I’d shoot for a smaller company that knows what they’re doing and been around a while.

All the big companies have it down to a science on keeping you rolling while keeping you broke.
