Why does he need a local company near St. Louis?
Can he leave the state?
What is the felony? We don't know him, so tell us and it makes it easier to look for companies.
Has he applied to any companies yet?
Does he live in MO or IL.?Last edited: May 26, 2017
DC818 Thanks this. -
I knew you would be coming in here for me thanks. He wants to stay at home with his family so that's why he doesn't want to go outside the St. Louis area. The felony is a four-year-old charge for marijuana. He lives right across the river in Illinois. So anywhere around that area I believe he will work. He doesn't really know about the forum so I figured I do him a solid favor and ask you @Chinatown

He has had a couple offers from local dump truck and mail contractors but he just wants to see his options

A new cdl grad isn't going to make much money trying to stay that close to home, unless he lucks out and gets a local tanker job.
There's good money in foodservice, maybe even $70K for a new cdl grad. One new grad was just hired with McLane Foodservice.
Try Beelman for tankers & ignore "exp. required" and apply anyway.
For foodservice try:
McLane Foodservice
Reinhart Foodservice
Sygma Network
Most foodservice websites have "1 yr. experience required" which I don't understand because they also hire new cdl grads and drivers with only a cdl permit. Apply for "Driver Associate" or "Driver Helper" to get started and be aggressive and let them know you're aware of them hiring new grads and drivers with only a cdl permit.DC818 Thanks this. -
