I worked for 7 months team OTR for a FedEx contractor. I've worked solo Texas only for the last 5 months for another FedEx contractor out of Austin. It's quite the commute every week. I have been looking for the same position out of Dallas, but no luck so far. 1 year of doubles experience. I have all of my endorsements. Clean MVR. Clean background. Any ideas? @Chinatown

Keep an eye out for Old Dominion Freight Line. We've got 3 terminals in DFW, the main Dallas terminal, one in Garland and another in Fort Worth. We've got like 25-30% excess capacity and the company is starting to hire drivers again.

Not sure what the pay scale is in TX but most drivers are home every day, P&D is everyday, some Linehaul guys do overnight layovers in a paid hotel then back home the next.
