Schneider National -- Regional dry van truck driver -- all experience levels accepted -- Middlebourne, WV

After each 6 months of duty....you could switch to another freight type (yet stay with Schneider -- avoid the job-hopping...& build a nice trucking resume...that projects stability):

• Smooth-bore tanker
• Intermodal ("where the rubber meets the rail")
• Conestoga/curtainside (in some locations)
• Dedicated
• Refrigerated (in some locations)

With the current freight market showing no real signs of improving....the above is certainly worthy of thought.

I started off with Schneider dry van; after 6 months, I switched over to intermodal -- & then I was home every 5 days.

Depending on the circumstances -- some drivers in intermodal were doing really well there in intermodal, money-wise.
