Looked on the DAC report, and did not see anything about Ozark. Is it a good company for a new driver? Do they hire new drivers? Is is a good company to stay with? Any and all info appreciated. Thanks.

Some very good points about Ozark is, 100% no-touch freight, no Canada, no NYC unless you beg to go there.

Btw Chinatown the website was updated and the training is on it. Must have cdl but does not require going to a school.

I spoke to recruiter today. When I asked if drivers were paid hhg or practical miles, he told me neither; they are paid 'Rand McNally' city limit miles. Does this method offer any advantage to the the driver? I have heard and read that practical miles are best because you are paid for the miles you actually drive.

For me, this does not rule out Ozark as a potential employer. I'm just doing my research.

I would like to hear from current drivers - what do you like and/or dislike about Ozark? Are they good about getting you home? Do you get enough miles?

If you are a new CDL graduate - Please give info about training, orientation, and your experience with you trainer.

If you are a former driver - Why did you leave? Would you go back?

Miles are typically off. If they say 600 it tends to be 630.

    Sojourn14 Thanks this.
