Sometimes do quite a bit of hauling for Arnold Brothers. Don't know anything about rates. If you do go on with them and haul an ABT trailer, check the trailer over real carefully. Some of those suckers haven't seen a mechanic or had any preventive maintenance done on them for a couple of years, sad to say. Sometimes correcting a problem can be creative rather than safe-like cutting the ABS when a trailer was having issues with the ABS somehow cutting in on and making problems for the trailer lights. After ABS cut, trailer sent out to get loaded for a trip to the west coast. Yup, down the mountains with no ABS. Nice folks, hey?

The average truck driving income for the Surrey area is $43000 per year. After road expenses. taxation and as a company driver you would be lucky to clear $1500 per month working for 'RR Plett Trucking. Beyond that MacDonald's Restaurants in Alberta pays $22 per hour or $40000 per year.
Keep on trucking or keep on flipping burgers is totally up to you

CAN YOU MAKE $100000 PER YEAR FLIPPING BURGERS IN ALBERTA
Try looking up Alberta jobs upon indeed dot com. Macdonalds is advertising $35000 per year for a 44 hour week There are several positions available

Now of course a 'seventy hour work week' and well enough said other than 'overtime' in the burger flipping logbook
Beyond that
Tim Hortons is paying $17 per hour

You might make $20/hour flipping burgers, but you're also going to pay $900-$1000 for a 1 bedroom apartment.

HarryHog: Your so called statistics are wrong. One should never compare after tax income. The employer does not decide on your taxes! Every employee pays different taxes. Single v wife and 3 kids !! You compared that $1500 after taxes to McD before!! You could use a quick course in statistics. That being said truck driving will never make you rich!

Yeah I probably shouldn't give up my freightliner apartment...lol...!
