Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

It is a little late to respond as I have been working for them for the last two years.
I get the 10,000 miles a month I am looking for and so far have had few problems.

Jack the rates up in British Columbia and lets get this show on the road before the entire industry ends up flipping burgers....end of story....!

We could always use a few lawyer's behind the wheel. Considering that 'yes' even the justice system is dependent upon trucking.
Other than that don't expect me as a Canadian to carry your books around in the court house for you, or rather deliver them to you for less then a substantial wage.

The demand for truck drivers is there. The problem is the existing truck companies in British Columbia have a monopoly upon the market of cheap labor and undercutting delivery rates.
Beyond that the industry is being suppressed by the customer or big corporations who shop around for the cheapest 'accounts payable' or third party delivery cost.
Company drivers can no longer afford to sit down and consume a meal at a truck stop. Let alone afford their own truck and fuel it as an owner operator.
Is there a future for the transport industry
More than 16,000 transport truck drivers needed in B.C. by 2022

BOTTOM LINE
Here is the keys to the truck and the burger flipper Boss. The way in which you should choose to use them in the future is completely up to you.
No free rides...!Last edited: Jul 26, 2014

Why did you resurrect my 2 year old thread to rant about the trucking industry?
You could have just started your own post/thread.HARRYHOG Thanks this. -

I never worked for them. Cans, and the garbage rates that go with them are for the immigrants.
