This reminds me of the old Groucho Marx line. "Do you really want to belong to a club that would have you as a member?"

No company that hires newbies is without problems. If they didn't have problems they would not need to hire as many new bodies as they do. Do your six months to a year with the first company that will hire you. Learn all you can. Then take your experience to a company that will pay you for what you have learned.

I know I am a better husband to my third wife then I was to the first two.

Seems like there's no information you're looking for. Pride isn't a CDL mill which is a good point. If you want refrigerated trucking, then go for it and stick with it 6 months; by then you will know if you want to continue with the company or move on.

Pros: Pride drivers are among the best rested in the industry. Little Jeffy England is a spoiled child who never worked a day in his life and is prone to throwing public tantrums, and you have got to see one of those before you die. Cons: Sitting in SLC waiting for a load.

Thanks. I hear that so often stick with it 6 months to a year then move after you have experience. I am trying not to do this but the more I look at companies the more this is becoming a reality.

Look at LW Miller also. Don't hear much about them, but they have different divisions.
Try not be become frustrated; most new drivers change companies 2 or 3 times the first couple of years until they find the best fit. Look at the different segments of trucking; tanker, flatbed, LTL, refrigerated, dry van and after you've been on the road 6 - 12 months you will know where your interests are.
