If you cant find anything local you might have to suck it up and do OTR for a year or so to get some experience. Keep a clean record and it should be alot easier finding a local gig. The local gigs are the ones everyone fights over, why would they take someone with 0 experience over someone with years of experience?

    Knight Transportation also has that.
I also see CR England and Swift Refrigerated delivering to Sam's Club and Walmart.

What response did you get from:

    • Santa Monica Seafood?
    • Dr Pepper?
    • Anheuser-Busch?
    • McLane?
Did you submit a full app with each of them? Did you later follow-up with phone calls to them?

    McLane...especially...is seemingly always looking for more/new help.....:dontknow:

When you're new....and you don't have any/much CDL experience to offer....you often have to be aggressive/persistent to make real progress....in your CDL job search.

So go OTR. You may not want to hear this, but it's truth. You're disadvantaged because you're inexperienced and have points on your license. Sometimes in trucking, you gotta take what you can get until something else comes up. You need to get experience some kind of way. You can go OTR for the short haul(pardon the pun) and try for local or regional again once you get some experience under your belt. If CRST will take you, call em up and get the ball rolling.
