If a truck driver is unemployed in canada right now, he/she either doesn't WANT to work, they aren't looking, or they are so bad that they are unemployable.

part of the problem is that some of these larger companys are so crappy and have such a bad reputation that most drivers have heard of them and wont work for them
in canada--especially western canada the trucking world is a small place---either you have worked for them--or know somebody who has--and some of these bad reps have been passed down from father to son in these companies -
Okay, its been a while since i started this topic, and thank you all for your contributions. I just wanted to write that I did manage to get a job offer and i'm waiting for the LMO at the moment but unfortunately i'm coming as a limo driver, but hey, that's a start
as soon as i get to Canada i will start looking for a truck driver position and i am sure that everything will be far easier then.
