i currently am employed with a s***house employer and have 3 months solo.
just don't want to get in the same mess, as i am currently. looking at TMC and Roehl. but as a recruiter said for Roehl "think about this before you apply. if you apply your currently company will find out and A)let you go B)cut your miles C)mess with your DAC" i thought that was pretty cool of her to tell me that. TMC recruiter said " Bah nobody will know". now i have heard TMC and Roehl are good companies to work for. anyone have any advice or maybe another good company to suggest?

Sure get 6 months experience and then call Eastern Freightways based out of North Brunswick Nj. They have been expanding their operating area and Chicago il has a new Nemf terminal (parent company of Eastern Freightways) in the area. They are a pretty decent outfit overall and should you call them mention Jason in truck 9940 suggested you call. You can find more info about Eastern by reviewing some of my latest posts or call them. You can get their number by looking them up on the net using the company name. Good luck!

I work for Schneider and they have dedicated accounts scattered around the country. Might be something to look into. I run dedicated and Im home nightly and on the weekends. Not all of their accounts are like that, but I think some do and others get you home at least more often than regular OTR driving.
