There's lots of dedicated work around New Jersey. Schneider may have intermodal and NFI may have regional and home most every day.
Does the school have any recommendations?
Ignore "experience required" and just walk in and ask for an application. That's how many drivers find good jobs.
Many drivers that live in New Jersey post on this forum, but they need to know which city/town you live in since you want local work. -
Springfield New Jersey. the school does but mainly for the big company in may there a job fair will attend that as well. Wife make enough where i can hold out and look atm.

You can try craigs list in NewJersey then Springfield or the surrounding cities then hit transport. You'll find all the trucking jobs there. But with no exp you may have a hard time finding anyone willing to train you.Its not the employer that doesn't wanna hire you its their insurance company.I tried 2 construction companies for a belly dump driver and both needs 2 yrs belly dump exp.
