I am the wife :) Hubby had a great gig with Supervalu (Brisk). They relocated to Pa...and supposedly won't accept trucks over 10 years old now.
Motor blew in hubbys truck, than junkyard one blew behind it. Went with a lease purchase through Bond. (One week to go!) Didn't make squat all year... most checks at 600-700 after fuel...not even 1/2 of what he was used to making, but we did what we had to do to get a truck.

Lease is ending and we need some referrals for good paying companies...preferrably ones that:

offer a base plate program (savings busted after this year)
    100% fuel surcharge
    Percentage of load not cpm
regional work/home every night a HUGE plus

I know, why not ask for the golden goose...but we had this at Brisk, I am praying there are more like it.

    TIA

Thanks it wasn't easy and he has become very jaded against trucking all together. (been driving for 10 years now) I think he has it in his head that they are all like this and we were just lucky enough to have had the cream of the crop 1st.

We have basically been living at welfare level and I don't want this past year to have been for nothing. I will check out the site you have mentioned!
