Ganto, hubby has been with Prime since July 2010. He has been in his own truck for two months now, so I guess you could call us newbies to Prime... but with that said, he has driven, in the past, for Dick Simon, KLLM, Werner, as well as a few smaller companies.

We rate them as good. In our experience they are up front and honest with what they expect, they have great equipment, and if you find a problem with it they are quick to correct/fix it. If it is going to take a while to fix, as did happen with hubby's first truck, they will put you in a different truck and get you moving again. If there is a problem with your weekly settlement it is normally fixed by the week after bringing it to their attention. With that said, make sure you check you settlement statement each week so you can bring problems to them quickly. And to date we have found they are fair with their dispatching - communication with the FM is key to this.

While the insurance for the family is more expensive than we have experienced with other companies, it is pretty good coverage and fair priced for the driver alone. After a year with the company those rates are cut about in half.

    Hope this helps.

What threads exactly? I've been somewhat around this section and haven't seen any threads with complaints about this company.
