    A little back story -

I am an owner-operator who is currently in a predicament. My truck (2020 Kenworth T680) decided to throw a rod, shoot bearings, or otherwise implode on itself 2 days ago. This implosion left a hole in the oil pan as well as a hole in the side of the block. I had it towed to the shop in OK and am waiting to hear about warranty coverage for this. About 1 month ago I towed my truck in to the shop for a new compressor after it decided to also implode on itself. On arrival to pick the truck up I discovered my trailer was stolen from in front of the dealership (53' stepdeck, HD ramps and the usual assortment of securement in the toolboxes) leaving me with no option but to rent a trailer to keep on truckin. I am renting a truck to deliver a military load then returning my rental trailer and subsequently the rental truck in order to try and keep everything afloat for my family and me.

I have been driving professionally for the last 10 years with experience with dry van, reefer, flatbed and stepdeck. I have run doubles and hazmat, hauled into and out of the ports, run oversize and in general have taken on the loads that need to be moved that not everyone would be interested in (take that to mean loads that may take you into areas hard to get out of ((think crane parts)), taking loads to build relationships ((take that to mean less on the rate in order for future runs that I can demand the rate that is more profitable because I have proven my ability. I put that out there because I know the value of teamwork and forward -thinking.

I live in Frederick, CO, which is about 35 miles north of Denver, CO. I hold a CDL-A with no restrictions and doubles, triples, tanker and HazMat endorsements (recently renewed and valid through August of 2028). I also hold a TWIC card- valid and recently renewed. My DOT physical is 2 years and will expire in November of 2025. I spent the fist 8 years driving with either 13 or 18 speed trans. and currently have an automated trans.

I am looking to find a role that ideally runs out of Colorado and offers benefits. I realize that is a broad definition but fear not, the ideal situation is to follow. I am an open-deck kind of guy and staying with that would be ideal. A "salary" type position with opportunity to make more based on mileage above a certain number paid at a CPM rate above and beyond is ideal. Home time is important. I am not interested in "earning" a day off for a week out only to have 2 or 3 days off when out for a few weeks. We are talking ideal here so a few weeks out and 6 days off is great. Well taken care of equipment is non-negotiable.

Realistically, line haul or regional OTR pulling freight on dry van or reefer whether single, doubles or triples is not out of my wheelhouse and I can be a great turn and burn kind of driver. I have no problem proving my value by doing what it takes to keep the team moving. I need to work as life has thrown me a curveball and I need to do what it takes to get my family through this difficult time. A company looking for a dedicated and experienced driver who takes maintenance and professionalism seriously should reach out to me. I would like to discuss any reasonable opportunity that you may have available. We can discuss specifics when we talk - you won't be disappointed with what I can bring.

    Thank you!

    Ben
