What is a good rate to pay a driver whos on 1099? If the driver if responsible for the fuel Would that be enough to consider gin/her a sub contractor?
I know companies do about .35cpm with a max of like .52 after 5 years or so for company drivers and as o/o ALL of the expenses are passed to the driver.

I was thinking something like .80cpm on all miles driver responsible for fuel. I Would be doing the dispatching. Does that sound good at all??

What kind of equipment have you driven?
Do you mind working with a female owner Operator?
Do you like day or night driving best?
