Hi! I’m looking for a teammate to drive a 5300 mile/week run, for FedEx (though W-2 employee of a different company). Pays $.85/mile (we split that). Run leaves in the evening on Wednesdays and returns on Sunday afternoon. Route is out of Bedford Park, IL - Dallas,TX , - Rialto,Ca - Sacramento area - Bedford Park,IL. Doubles endorsement needed.
I have been driving for 1 year. I keep a portable camp toilet in the truck. Clean, female, 49 YO, straight, Non-smoker. I would prefer to drive the “day” shift.

This would be a new route/employer for me. I currently drive Regional lor a private fleet. Open to other opportunities, as long as I am home weekly

Illinois doesn’t require formal training - I simply watched a video that I found on YouTube, and then took the test at the DMV. Definitely easier than the HazMat test (which did require formal training prior to testing)

Well, I guess everyone has their own requirements or preferences, that said, "port-a-potty" would be a pretty big deal killer for me.
You mean that your route is so tough that you don't have time to take a pee?
And honestly, the money ain't there either.

You can't afford me, but are there any benefits involved?

$114K/year. What do you think it should pay?

For teaming and being away from home? And potentially (because it's FedEx) not having benefits? We'll start at 125k if it's a REALLY sweet run, and go up from there.

You could be right on the benefits, or lack of, since it’s not mentioned. However, for a driver with 1 year of experience, $114K is pretty dang good. If more experienced, I can see $120K+.

To a newer driver, yes. I was kind of half thinking for myself, too. But point taken, it's not bad for a new driver.
