I'm new on the trucking business, but also think that is very good to take advantage of the Technology to help you at work. Until now I have been using my old Maguellan Maestro 4350, is a good device but is more focused to regular car use. Most of the time points me on the right direction, the worst issue is that you can not update the map from 2008, and does not show you trucks route and others related. I heard of a new GPS device "Garmin DEZL 560 LMT", but after reading Dieselboss GPS comparison chart, I lean more toward getting the PC Miller 750 that can show the "no truck allowed routes and low bridges". Any other GPS device that can show this?, How about Garmin?.

Blue tooth. I'm using my old motorola ear device. But external noises interfere very much. I readed good opinions in this forum about the Blue Parrott Xpressway & B250-XT models, also Plantronics Voyager PRO unit. Which are your experiences with them or other simillar units?

Also think that a rear camera that you can attach in the back of the trailer, can be very handy for reverse maneuvers, especially one that can see in the dark. Apparently the Garmin DEZL 560 has a conection for this. Have any of you Guys, have any experience with this type of devices?

Your better off leaving the rear camera's to gramps in the RV, learn the proper way to back-up, whether its day or night, G.O.A.L.
    Get out and look.

Get the 12 volt camera system at Costco. About $275. for Monitor and 4 cameras. 1, facing ahead thru windshield, 2, 2 cameras mounted on mirrors that can also be used for wide load and 1 camera on rear of trailer.

    1. Why would you have one facing through the windshield if you aren't recording?

    2. I am not finding any 12 volt 4-cam systems on Costco for $275. Do you have a link by chance?
