yeah, first, it was not the typical 4 sided water spigot handle, that most homes have for your outdoor water faucet. because it was a special anti theft or anti-use spigot...to do what..?? stop people from stealing thier water..lol

so i had actually, a splined socket set that i was able to use to open up the water.

then, to make sure it would go "un-noticed", i really did wash my truck in the rain, light or heavy, didn't matter, i had rain gear too...lol

the only thing i can think of is that maybe a little too much soap was used?

from what i can recall too, is that the d/c center was always closed after midnight on fridays, and re-opened on monday morning s at 4 AM...

oh well.....that's why i'd be driving a dirty truck for a while, as i had to wait for the rain...

one more thought, maybe when they went to work on a monday morning, my truck was cleaner than our other ones..???

yes, if ever you needed to wax your car (as an example), you would wash it with dish soap...

then clay bar it, then re-wash it, then wax or polish it...

clay bar takes out the deep in-ground dirt, in the pores of the paints surface....just NEVER drop that clay bar on the ground, as you made it useless, as it WILL pick up the dirt, small grit, and scratch up your paint..!!!

Putting some Purple Power degreaser in the fluid reservoir seems to help cut that nasty greasy bug spatter.

Spray Windex. Let it sit for ten minutes reapplying as needed to keep the window wet then hit your wipers or better yet scrub the window. The key is to let the guts soak a bit and soften. It's the same idea as letting a dirty dish soak in the sink.

Easier to get a wash cloth (or sponge) that is sopping wet and place it on the offending item on the window.

So, is that dish soap in the washer fluid or water only?
