Looking at a potential water hauling tanker job based out of Stockdate, Tx with Bridger. 12 hour shifts at night this summer, with all work on Texas rules. Has anyone worked at Bridger?

I don't know anybody who has ever hauled water for them, but I've never heard anything good about their crude-hauling operations. Maybe their water division is better managed?

I won't take the chance. If they're stinkers in one mode, they're stinkers. Period.

I've already scratched them off my list. With this supposed "driver shortage" the companies are all whining about, you'd think the companies would have straightened up by now and would be treating drivers like human beings. Except for the fact there IS NO DRIVER SHORTAGE.

As I understand it, if your not going to lease one of their water trucks you'll end up working for one of the O/Os who are leasing

When last I talked to some drivers in that area, they seemed to be paid differently, one guy was getting a percentage of the load others paid by the hour.

The only plus side is I think Bridger just hauls water, no service work. So 5 to 10 loads a night and your done .

I think you mean Ferrellgas, L.P., that acquisition was done a couple years back. When Ferrellgas bought Bridger they also bought Sabel disposals and stopped accepting water from other trucking companies.

If Pilot did buy them recently, I'd run far away.
