Looking for Truck Drivers to Participate in Emergency Truck Parking Interviews

So, it's Florida, and he's taking about hurricanes. I mean, since commercial trucks are, y'know, MOBILE, just about anybody who has at least the sense of a bag of hammers is gonna get in their truck and head AWAY from the storm. Most trucking companies stop sending units into Florida 5 days before expected landfall. So, no, buddy, I doubt your request as I also doubt you are actually a doctoral candidate. I'm still trying to figure out just what's your 'angle', but I'm fairly sure you're running some sort of scam. Sorry, but I know BS when I see it......

 

but, to address the lack of parking, yes, there is a BIG lack of parking for everyday drivers.

But they for sure want us to bring them supplies. Then get out. But little to no parking. NIMBY comes to mind

Yes, ESPECIALLY in south Florida. It don't take no PhD to figure THAT out! My suggestion is this: whatever budget the Dep't of Transportation give you would be better spent on purchasing some land and paving a truck lot. At least that would be something useful....
