It seems I've read more good things about TMC than bad and seeing as I want to do flatbed I plan on applying to TMC. If they are still taking recent CDL school grads when I go to apply does anyone know if it has to be from an approved school/curriculum? I started with Millis and went through their school but never tested for my CDL. I had to start the process over and now have my permit again and talked to someone at the local community college (SAGE). They have a 3 1/2 week course. This is what I'm planning on doing but I wanted to see if anyone here had any insight on if it has to be a certain program from a certain school or whatever before I call. Thanks guys.

My advice is to call TMC first, get your prehire, let them decide what school to send you to.
I ended up saving money by doing it that way, it was their school, their choice, i was immediately hired and they put 1,000 bucks down so that i could start immediately with nothing out of my own pocket.
It may have changed by now, but at least check into it. You'd hate to want to drive for them really bad only to find out that you diddn't go to the right driving school. -
great info eckz! Thank you very much...I will do that. Do you still drive with them?

Nope >.< but i can get you whatever info you need. I was a trainer, and still talk to my trainee's almost every day that are still there.
