its not that I want an aero truck, I just didnt understand why they were so much cheaper than the others ones, but it seems like they are just beat up fleet trucks that will end up giving me problems and are underpowered. Is a KW T600 a good in between truck where I can get best of both worlds. So all in all, whats the BEST BANG FOR THE TRUCK I should look for?

Are you currently hauling cars & how far are you looking to run?

Freightliner FLD with a Detroit and a 10 spd. A T-600 is definitely a nicer truck but you'll pay quite a bit more. Go talk to your local truck repair shops about finding a good used truck. They usually have heard about them and a lot of time you can find out the history from them if it's a regular customer.

Look for a company gig or an o/o needing a driver, the rates in general right now are pretty tough on cars & would imagine going to get even tighter over the winter months.

I just did a search on truck paper there are 12 pages of Pete 379s and 8 pages of W900s for under $25K. Some of them even have recently rebuilt motors. If you want to go the econo truck route you can get a really decent truck around the same price with low miles.Right now is the time to buy a truck people are desperate to sell just because they are asking a certain price doesnt mean you need to pay them that.

379 Peterbilt's and W900 KW's are so much more because they are bada$$. If you want to step out of the truck and have people think "####, that dudes bada$$", get a Pete or KW.
Also, they depreciate so little compared to other makes and models (Freightliner, International). Freightliners & comparable are like Cadillacs, you buy one for $55K, 1 year later it's worth $20K. Pete & KW are like (sad to say) foreign/european cars. They maintain their value.
