So the companies that you listed before that are running this setup you are so fond of, the ones that I spoke of in the post you quoted, they are now somehow not valid?

If you run a 3.55 in direct and you hit a faster engine rpm, your in the wrong gear and should upshift to OD. The engine rpm would go up to maintain your top speed, but you have 1 or 2 more gears that you should use if you have a 3,55. it would be stupid to run a 3.55 in direct unless your downshifting for a a hill. If you rpms creap up, then you should be in a higher gear. -

Lets compare the setups:
Low gear is 39.263 on the 10 speed OD setup
Low gear is 39.4416 on setup "B"
Low gear is 39.4152 on setup "C"
High gear is 2.6625 on 10 speed OD setup
High gear is 2.64 on setup "B"
High gear is 2.64 on setup "C"
Next gear down is 3.55 on 10 speed OD setup
Next gear down is 3.3528 on setup "B"
Next gear down is not known on setup "C" but would be very close to "B"
Startability would still be acceptable, but we have narrower gears like a 13 speed.
Would that be acceptable?
edit: I forgot to add the ":1" these are ratios after all. -
You're welcome.
