Looking to get back into the game

    I’ve been out of driving truck I held a cdl from 2009-2015 I had a cornia transplant done and I see 20/30 in my right easily and left eye is 20/30 also i passed my physical already and taking my permit again here shortly I have been turned away by a couple companies already because I’ve already have held a cdl trying to just get it back

    I’ve already been given multiple companies already and have really looked into a couple and some of them don’t seem like the right fit for me I’m looking to run 48 and am not looking to run nyc or the north east I am in new haven Indiana but dont mind traveling to get back on the road

    No need to spam threads. Now in your other thread you mentioned certain lanes you want to avoid as well as companies you want to avoid. First look local for apprenticeship openings. Next you may have to lower your standards a bit to do what you have to for a year.

    I don’t have a cdl I had a cdl but I need to train and take the written and road not worried but need a decent company for at least 6 months to a year

    I get that if you can’t fork out for a private or college you will have to go to a company that has there own school and you already said you wouldn’t work at those companies.

    I am looking at sneider,pam.cfi
    Prefer to run 48 and would like to stay out from the north east and nyc trying to get my cdl back try to have atleast 3-4 more otr companies that will train me thanks

    I looked into road master but I heard warner took them over and my last 2 months there were horrible when I first got my cdl in 09

    Again maybe bend your wants a bit and stick it out a year. You are in a tough spot so if you have to run ne for a year then move on then you would be better off.

    Starter companies are what they are, Ya just gotta bite the bullet get it over sometimes. I think CRST is a horrible company to work for but not bad as far as training.
