Looking for some info in getting back into trucking after only leaving swift after two months back in 2015 cause of one incident I had with them during my training and I wasn't aware of it counted towards me ..Let me explain..Well in my very first week of driving with my mentor on his delicated account with Costco..We were in Morris Illinois at Costco distribution center and after picking up our load their were several people standing outside next to this machine .They flag us down and ask if we could go thru this machine that it was a automatic trailer snow removal and they were testing it..Told us to go thru it on low gear and once we were half way past it to give it some gas but not much ..So I did went thru it look thru our mirrors and seen nothing .So at this time we proceed to get our load weight at their weight scale to make sure we are good ..All of a sudden a swift pickup truck pulled up right next to us and told us we needed to call claims department and let them know that we broke Costco machine ..That's when I went into panic mode and was worry about my future..That's when my mentor at the time told me don't worry about it it won't go on you so that's what I did I trusted my mentor and we drove back took Pics and seen nothing was wrong with the machine don't know what they were saying was broke ...Remind u I never heard anything from swift about this incident not did my mentor ever mentioned it again..I went thru training went solo for about a month took my 3 days home time once I got back hook up to an empty called my dispatcher and that's when she ask if I had time to do a monthly required review with her since I'm new..So she started talking to me and that's when she brought up about that incident I had with my mentor..I then went into a rage and explain what happen and ask why I was never talk to about it till now ...Short story short I left them and haven't been in a semi since..I have that incident on my dac which I didn't know till recently try to dispute it but got denied..Now I'm wondering after being out for over a year and one incident on my record..Is there any companies that would take me without having to pay for a refresher course on my own..I have tried applying to several companies but no far only ones and I heard from are Western Express .. Transam ..And pride transport ..Any info would be appreciated
looking to get back

I don't get what you did, you got mad because someone questioned you?
seriously?
You quit?
A review is just that, a review, not an accusation.
If you were told by one person that it is alright, then if it is brought up, then explain what you were "told" to do and what he "told" you about the incident.
Overall I would think you need to do something else because this is so trivial, it stopped you completely and from what you posted, she didn't do a thing other than a review.ChaoSS Thanks this. -
If pride, western express and transam are interested in you jump on it.
Don't know that I'd bother holding out for any better with 2 months experience and an accident. Get rolling driver.Puppage Thanks this. -

Well.... they didnt fire you. You just got mad and quit. I quit swift back in 96. After being umemplpyes for 15 months.. they tehored me in 2012
Stayed there for 2.5 yrs. I quit due to doc wantrd a sleep apnea test dome and i ended up refusimg to do finish it. If it wasnt for thay
.. i still be there. I have other health issues that i was dealing with and wasnt going to fall far that test bs. Yep... swift needs to improve their communication but with all these drivers it takes time. -
Got to also be really brutally honest, if this is one of these things that you can't deal with, then you will be quitting all the time, it happens all the time in this business.WiggleWagon Thanks this. -
