If you are referring to a learning permit, the Employer is correct. It wont do him any good. You need a full up CDL driver/instructor to hold your hand in that cab whenever you drive. It's a chance to go to school and finish the time necessary to learn everything needed to be successful in getting a full grown CDL at the state DMV wherever it is. They are all supposidely on the same federal standard anyway. What matters is your official residence address. That is the state you have to have your CDL from. Or you will be surrendering a out of state one within 30 days and get a home state CDL.

Go to the Oklahoma'sDMV and retake the test.
Permit is only good for the state you got it in
