I'm not a trucker yet, first of all I'm currently in a job I hate. Decided to do something about it after a little over six years of this job and I enrolled into a driving school set to kick-off in October. I want to get into ltl driving pulling doubles or triples. Been looking at USF Reddaway, Con-Way, Saia and Old Dominion. I really don't want to go otr because of my family. Personally I just couldn't do it, but all the praise to the men and women who do. These companies say you just need to be a graduate of a driving school to get hired but I'm looking for advice on how to stand out above other applicants and get hired or any other advice someone has would be greatly appreciated. Looking to move my family from middle America to Oregon to do this job, so any driver advice from up there would be great too. Please help. Thanks
