Really?
How is walking out of a month-long school, with job offers of anywhere from 60k-80k a year ‘worse’ than what Walmart pays a lube tech?

Dispatch will keep you in a region a while to break you in. Usually overnights shorthauls such as Heinz Ketchup out of Toledo to Chambersburg PA or nearly.
The coast to coasts are given to teams usually and once in a while you will be lucky to have it such as a reefer run from Yakima WA to Chelsea MA which is downtown core Boston's Seafood market which also does produce etc. They give you 5 days to get there.Hateful Thanks this. -
Talk to a local CDL school. Chances are Ohio will pay for the training and living expenses. Make more money, pay more taxes plus there's a shortage of drivers. The problem with those contracts is you pat for it one way or another. I went with Swift and was making $30k. Started jumping after 6 months and got to $60k in under a year. Best to not have that sword hanging over your head.

Um, you won't go far with a handle like "Hateful" in this business. I've delivered in Piqua, some pizza outfit. People were great in Ohio, for the most part. Not hateful, that I remember.
Bob Dobalina Thanks this. -
