I went to Schneider National's school and graduated the program but never actually got the CDL. Long story short I just didn't feel comfortable and there were some serious issues. This was well over four years ago. I'm looking at possibly getting back into it but I am thinking that something like a community college program would be best. I want to get the best training possible and I prefer to have a high degree of confidence. I'm looking to avoid company programs if possible. Any suggestions or advice?

Check my thread out. I'm going to Mid Forida Tech now, any questions I'd be glad to help you.

Ridge Career Center in Winter Haven is also a good school.

Thank you, I will look them over. I knew of Roadmaster but not these two.

Had a bad experience with Roadmaster here in Orlando. They let me get 1.5 wks in to the wk program then told me my financing wasn't approved and that I needed a co-signer. Would recommend making sure financing is all set before you start. Eliminate that possibility...
