lol man idk what you are telling these people when you apply. But stop it. Don’t tell them you got fired. Just put down you have worked for 2-3 jobs in the last year. No break in employment. Who cares if the info is right. No truck company is going to check that data. They would only check if it was a truck company. If they ask why I left, u left for more money or to get in trucking.

If you got no mvr or accidents and no criminal background ur gold in trucking lol

Prime wouldn't hire a guy that was fired from McDonalds during high school.
Many companies won't hire a job hopper that did that before becoming a trucker.
Some don't care, but most do have policies of, "If you've had "X" number of jobs within the last "X" years, we won't hire you.
Don't worry, plenty of companies out there will hire you.

Honestly before Amazon, the company I worked for lied to me from the beginning and did not pay me correctly at all... before that the USPS was just supposed to be temporary... prior to that I worked in the ER at a hospital but had to move because of cut hours... and before that I was in nursing school for 2 1/2 years lol

2 1/2 years of school you were a student, not unemployed.
Many people make the mistake of not listing that time period as a student.

I have listed it. On the Driver Pulse app, that stored my application info... I actually graduated with honors and decided I'd like to try something else. I tried to test a few times for the state board and if anyone know's any nurse's they know that the NCLEX is ridiculous. So, I worked in the ER to gain more knowledge, then when I had to leave there to come up to Ohio. I knida lost the drive to do it. Hence why am looking to get into trucking.

My daughter is a nurse. She's burned out, mainly since most jobs are through staffing agencies now.
Twice the staffing agency sent her to hospice care in prisons. She's aggressively looking for a new career.
Card dealers here in Las Vegas make good money if they graduate from dealer school. She's not too keen on moving here from the east though. I know one woman that's knocking down $75K doing that and only been dealing cards for about a year..

That's pretty good money :) Not sure if my wife and child would want to move all the way out there from here though. Most of her family live in SC and Canada (Oddly enough), my family is here in Ohio, so my guess is she'd want to stay here so family can help while I am out.

We do what we have to do to care for our family, so I understand that.

Yep, after being unemployed since September (to help take care of my wife's medical issues (which are for the most part better); I feel that it is time for me to push on to provide for my family. Hopefully, I will be able to find a company that is willing to give me a chance.
