CRST is like any starter company it's had it's positives and negatives. I been with the company over 10 months, had 2 co-drivers (one got fired for speeding the other is leaving for a flatbed company) and have averaged just about 6000 miles a week, one time when I was going on home time I got over 7000 miles In a week. If you go through CRST you'll get your CDL for free PLUS your hazmat endorsement (8 month contract) with pay starting off at 22¢ per mile that you drive (or the way I looked at it 11¢ per mile Driving or sleeping). I know there is a lot of negative talk about CRST (I used to talk crap about them too but I'm still here) but if you have a positive attitude and are on time for pick up and delivery at least 95% of the time you will get the miles. My only thing that I don't like about CRST is 28 days out and being home for only 4 to 5 days. That's why I'm going to head over to the dedicated side of CRST. Good luck with your decision.

Thank you very much for taking time to write to me, you are the type of person I was hoping would respond. They are at the top of my list, I did submit an app to another company on friday and I have to call them tomorrow but I'm more leaning towards crst so I may just listen to what the other company has to say tomorrow and then move on.
Anyway, thank you again. If I have any questions is it ok if I message you? -
I don't know about them fi I heard more stories or comments from drivers like you it may change my mind. The 8 month contract is good but they only run teams right? Is the program free to get your CDL or they take it out of your check and after the 8 months you can leave with no penalty as your commitment and contract has been fufilled. They also have 3-4 law suits against them too and are going into the red. How are the miles are you getting 1200 or more a week solo.As I hear alot of drivers are struggling to make it there plus they have a bunch of students who didn't make it or were sent home for whatever reason 50 or more sitting in homeless shelters that is a fact. Is there a post or site with good honest reviews from drivers anywhere that are positive and within the last year or so.Thanks.

People see this. Think it will be them. It can be you. After 3.5 years.
It is true that after 8 months you can walk away, no more owed. If you can make it that long.Pameee Thanks this. -
But. All this said. They WILL employee people right out of prison, duii, drug convictions, etc. This is not a joke. Everybody does deserve a second chance. Sometimes it takes a company going out on a limb to help create a successful and productive member of society. Also, with no more than the DMV fees out of pocket, you can start a new career. So if your broke, near homeless, crst can be a blessing.
