Here in WI there are 2 companies I consider. Roehl and Millis.

Millis has virtually ZERO negative posts/comments anywhere on the net.

Roehl has a fair amount but they also have like 2-3x the trucks and I think the majority of negative posts could be from a small amount of people.

Of course and as usual, I may have no idea what I am talking about.

What about Karl's out of Antigo? I know a few of their drivers and I've never heard anyone complain. They're a smaller company to begin with. But I don't know if they hire students or not...

I left a job making 42k a year at 21 to start driving. It was a no brainer for me though. I've always wanted to drive. So I gave up that money to chase my dream. I haven't once regretted it. Some will frown on this advice but oh well. What do you really want to do? You've gotta to go after what you want in life when you can. You could die tomorrow and none of it would've mattered. I know the industry is bad right now but we've filed for our own authority and pick up our truck next week. It's what we want to do and there's no time like the present. :biggrin_2559:

...I love driving. Always have. Being on the road just clears my mind.
I cant explain it, but things that tend to bother me just disappear. It's like I am in my 'happy' place for some time. I think her post summed it up. One needs to go after what one WANTS to do. At some point, money isn't everything. I would be fine with making less (in this case though, MUCH less) - as long as I was happier....

I can't remember the last time I was really happy...:biggrin_2552:
