There several practice tests on this site. I've done them several times while studying my state CDL manual.
I don't know how good the practice tests are here, but I keep doing them. I'm showing up to school in Dunn with the CLP and physical out of the way.
Looking to start a career in Trucking! What CDL school....

This way you'll have several job offers real soon and have plenty of time to pick the one you want. The job offers will be contingent on successful completion of cdl school and having any required endorsements.Mortarmaggot Thanks this. -
I'm studying now for HAZMAT, Tanker, Air Brake, and double/triple. I do have a background in HAZMAT and load packaging for shipment. The pre trip isn't intimidating either. I figure it's a lot like other attention to detail tests, such as, Jumpmaster, Rappel Master, Loadmaster, or Sling-load testing in various military schools over the years. There is an excellent video I've watched several times on YouTube.
A buddy of mine drives tanker here in Fayetteville. I'll be going over and doing some pre trip with him before the school even starts. I'd work where he does, but they want the year of experience. They may consider six months since I've got a clean, well, everything.
It'll take some time getting used to driving the big trucks. As a young soldier, I did drag howitzers around D.C. for a few years with the Presidential Salute Guns Platoon. -
DC818 Thanks this.
