    I don’t believe farm tags are legal lip you’re hauling for hire. But it just depends on if he just wants to stay busy or make money ,lotta busy work out there.

    Because companies that lease on drivers arent shady at all. Someone who has no prior trucking experience aside from just driving has no idea about rates, fuel surcharges, cost of plates, insurance, or any # of things a co might charge to an ill informed lease operator.

    Then if they have a guy they can skim $ off the top of because he has no clue, who do you think they're gonna dispatch more loads to? The guy who knows the rates and wont run the cheap freight or the guy that just bought a truck and is trusting the co to "be honest"?

    Now, what if your that experienced L/O? You gonna be happy losing loads to the new guy?

    BFDNT, how long have you had your CDL? This will make a big difference on insurance costs.
