Cut your losses, sell the truck. You don't have any knowledge of this business, or the ability to sniff out a scam, so you will just end up losing more money.
-
i'd still like to know how the truck got over on the west in the first place. where it's not registered.
-
Same here. They did have another volvo exactly like mine so the drivers are probably a little confused

You put yourself in a bad situation by not knowing what your trucks are doing. I'm a fleet owner and I know what my drivers are doing and where my truck is going. You wanted to throw money in, do no work, and get rich from the sounds of it. There is very little to be made after paying the driver and truck expenses. You have to own multiple trucks(over 5) to be able to even give yourself an income at all. Chalk it up to a learning experience and move on. Trucking isn't for everybody and if you aren't willing to keep up with your trucks you need to get out.

I am signed on with another company and get dispatch notfications daily. I also have my own driver in the truck that ibspeak with every day.I also installed a new gps feature to track my truck. Im only concerned about if there is a case of theft here. Not trying to get rich immediately but I am trying to build a business in trucking. This isnt my only source of income where I own 3 restaurants. Theft is theft and if can prove it, I will.

Man I can't say what you sound like because I would get banned.. but this isn't their fault.. You were at fault for not being in the loop.. You have made some pretty shady statements on here already.. Claiming your truck was in Cali... Ore... Wa.... all states that are pretty notorious for checking trucks info the first time they are in the state with a said carrier.. I don't believe any court in the country is going to find in your favor and even if they do you will not get anything out of it.. Besides your contract you speak of has phrases like.. Best intrest of.. ALL DISPATCHED MILES... All cost shall be borne BY OWNER.. and the contract has to be broken down in a certain way and I can assure you it is not in your benefit.. You need to sell your truck before you lose everything you have..
