I'm did it two years. We set our schedules in stone, let dispatch know how it was gunna be and ran. I did 1800 to 0600, he did 0600 to 1800.
If we'd wised up and went to a line haul gig with an LTL outfit we might still be in it.
We were friends before (still are) very similar in nature and entertainment aspects. But we still fought with each other every now and then. (Some got good and close to violent). If wouldn't recommend OTR teaming. Need time apart from the other so you don't bludgeon them to death with a knotted rope.
Looking to team.. Whats the longest U teamed w someone?

4 years so far it's a tightrope. When we first started we kind of gravitated to the tasks that each of us felt more comfortable with. We both know our responsibilities and keep up with them.
Do we argue of course we do but in the end the job wins out.
Teams if in right spot can and will make more than solos I will personally vouch for that at .32cpm for ALL miles each I'd say we are doing well running 250k miles last year.
It also doesn't hurt that we are on dedicated route getting us home for 24 hours every three days with two days off every other weekend. -
I need your job lol we are having hell finding a good company
