Dont drive the acid tanks for FTS I should have said. They are water tankers with some liner that the acid eats away in less than a month and leak. The valves they use are not rated for acid and leak. This is not second hand or rumors. I saw it first hand. I put in the valves many times. Most of the time they dont give you the right paperwork. I was just trying to let him know. The LGS tankers are ok for the most part.

FracTech doesn't have a very good rep around here...you couldn't get on with Halliburton, Trican, Cudd, Keane, or Schlumberger? I would've tried that lot before considering FT. They're notorious hereabouts for 1. trucks breaking down in very inopportune locations, 2. breaking the frac, and 3. attracting DOT attention (as if the sand-cans and water bottles didn't do enough of that :) )

Well sir, I do frac and it is easy. Yes, zipper fracs keep you moving. I don't zipper frac and I am always moving. There is plenty to do. Go to a place that has pump monkeys and you really won't do anything. Most companies don't do zipper fracs around here. There are enough guys to get things done without overloading just a few. You just have to go find where they hide and get in their rears!

I do seats and valves by myself, depends what brand pump as to how easy it is. I get it down quicker than 2 people.

I also knock off pumps and put them back on by myself. I use my legs to hold the iron. Of course, I don't work well with incompetent people so i usually do most things by myself. The oilfield has as many incompetent people as the trucking industry does!

I applied to the companies in my area and frac tech was the first one to offer me a job so I took it.I can only be responsible for my actions and I promise I'll do my best.If it doesn't work out with them or there are alot of things I don't like,I'll move on.

Frac can be very easy or it can be hard. Our crew doesn't work twelve hour shifts. If we start a job, we are there on duty until the frac is done and then we rig down. That could be ten hours or it could be thirty. We very rarely do wireline jobs and when we do I really enjoy it. The last job I was on didn't go so well and I was awake (although not always all that busy) for forty plus hours. That's what happens when you are the only blender tender on location.:biggrin_2556:

Yes pretty easily. I would say average for an Eo would be 80-95.
